Grand Hotel de la Minerve Roma http://www.grandhoteldelaminerve.com
Refined and elegant, the Grand Hotel de La Minerve is housed in a magnificent 17th century building that first belonged to the De Fonesca family. After 13 years of closure it was re-opened in 1990 after a six-year restoration period by architect Portoghesi. The hotel is located close to the Pantheon with a splendid view of the city from the roof garden. Tastefully decorated using elegant French fabrics, the guest rooms have every comfort. There is a statue of the goddess Minerva from 1850 situated in the main hall, and her reflection can be seen in the white marble flooring with its yellow swirls.
